Gilbert L. Feltel Jr.

Gil is an accomplished trial lawyer with wide ranging experience in a number of legal disciplines.

Gil first earned extensive trial experience as a criminal prosecutor. As an Assistant State Attorney, he served on both the Homicide and White Collar units, focusing on complex cases. His prior experience also includes private practice with a full service firm, litigating a broad range of cases in state and federal courts as well as arbitration tribunals.

In addition to his work as a trial lawyer, Gil is an experienced corporate counsel in diverse industries. He served as General Counsel for The First Tee, an initiative of World Golf Foundation, Inc., developing golf training facilities across the U.S. He later worked as an Assistant General Counsel with CSX Transportation, the largest rail transportation provider in the eastern U.S. With this background, Gil provides his clients with not only sharp legal acumen, but also the business judgment and perspective that come from serving on an executive team.

Since returning to private practice in 2007, Gil has been recognized by his peers for his legal skill, being named as one of Florida’s Legal Elite. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Salvation Army of Northeast Florida and the 200 Club of Jacksonville. While at the University of Florida, Gil was elected President of the Student Senate and selected for membership in Florida Blue Key Honor Fraternity.
