Gilbert L. Feltel Jr.
Gil is an accomplished trial lawyer and veteran case leader. As a former executive and Assistant General Counsel with CSX Transportation, Gil gives our clients the advantage of his considerable business experience and perspective. Gil understands the impact of litigation on a client’s reputation, relationships and finances and understands how to manage those issues to best achieve the client’s objectives. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to representing banks and other creditors in both state and federal court
Gil started his legal career at the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida, earning extensive trial experience. While an Assistant State Attorney, he served on both the Homicide and Special Prosecution teams. Gil moved on to a large commercial firm where he practiced commercial litigation, focusing on construction, insurance coverage, contract and business tort issues. Prior to joining CSX, he was General Counsel for The First Tee, an initiative of World Golf Foundation, Inc.
While at the University of Florida, Gil was elected President of the Student Senate and was tapped for membership in Florida Blue Key Leadership Honorary Society.
