Thomas E. Bishop
As one of north Florida’s most accomplished trial lawyers, Tom Bishop brings powerful advocacy skills, creativity and energy to every case. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, negligence and products liability, construction, insurance coverage and white-collar criminal defense. He has extensive experience in the litigation and trial of complex cases in state and federal courts, and before arbitration tribunals. He is also an experienced appellate advocate.

Tom began his career as a state prosecutor in Jacksonville, trying many significant cases to juries, and serving as a homicide prosecutor and prosecutor of career criminals. He then became a trial lawyer and partner at the Jacksonville office of Holland & Knight, LLP, where he focused primarily on commercial and tort litigation and white-collar criminal defense. He is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, Inc., listed in Best Lawyers in America and has been recognized within Florida Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010) and also Super Lawyers Magazine (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010), Top 100 Super Lawyers in Florida (2011).
